Mike is a former investment professional, current restaurateur, and Brooklyn dad.
As a second-gen immigrant born in the San Francisco Bay Area to Lebanese and Egyptian parents, he spent his early years living East and West, enjoying long summers in Beirut, and eating his way around the world. His family moved to Riyadh when he was a toddler, where they lived six years before relocating to Washington DC. Fast forward to 2003, and with a degree from the University of Virginia, Mike moved to New York City to begin a fifteen-year career in finance.
Today, he’s settling into a new career as the owner of Nabila’s: a restaurant by the neighborhood and for the neighborhood. Mike lives just a stone’s throw away, with his wife and two children
